Edwards accomplishes another first
The name Teresa Edwards starts off a number of impressive sentences.
Edwards played in the American Basketball League’s inaugural game.
Edwards is the first female basketball player to have played in five Olympic Games.
Edwards holds the distinction of being the youngest gold medalist in women’s basketball at age 20 in 1984 as well as the oldest at age 36 in 2000.
