USA U19 Women Golden With 87-71 Victory Over Spain

Nnemkadi Ogwumike posted game-highs of 22 points and 20 rebounds to lead the 2009 USA U19 World Championship Team to an 87-71 gold medal victory over Spain on Sunday night in Bangkok, Thailand. For her play throughout the tournament, Ogwumike, who ranked seventh overall in scoring (13.6 ppg.) and third for rebounding (9.9 rpg.) among the 16-team field, was named to the 2009 FIBA U19 World Championship All-Tournament Team.  ...  MORE >>
