  • Member of the gold medal winning 1996 USA Olympic and the historic 1995-96 USA Basketball Women's National teams that compiled a combined 60-0 record and were named the 1996 U.S. Olympic Committee and USA Basketball Team of the Year; averaged 11.9 ppg., 4.3 rpg. and 2.7 apg.

  • Sat out the 2001 WNBA season after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament as well as her lateral meniscus in her left knee in April, 2001.
  • Helped the Houston Comets to four WNBA titles (1997, 1998, 1999, 2000), averaged 14.4 ppg., 5.7 rpg., 2.7 apg., and
    2.1 spg. overall in Houston's four championship runs.
  • After giving birth to her son Jordan Eric Jackson on June 25, 1997, made her WNBA debut on August 7 and played in nine games of the 1997 season.
  • Member of the 1997 WNBA All-Star Team that toured Europe.
  • Averaged 7.1 ppg., 3.2 rpg. and 1.9 apg. in nine 2005 EuroLeague contests for VBM-SGAU Samara (Russia).
  • In 1993-94, played 10 games in the Italian league with Basket Bari and averaged 23.0 ppg.

College Notes:

  • During her two seasons (1992-93), Texas Tech compiled a 58-8 record (87.9%), participated in two NCAA Tournaments, captured the 1993 NCAA title and won two Southwest Conference (SWC) titles.
  • Transferred to Texas Tech from South Plains Junior College (Texas) after being named the 1991 Junior College Player of the Year.
  • Her Texas Tech No. 22 jersey was retired on February 19, 1994.
  • Finalist in three 1993 ESPY categories: Performance Under Pressure, College Performer of the Year and Female Athlete of the Year.
  • Named 1993 National Player of the Year by nine organizations, including USA Today and Sports Illustrated.
  • Named MVP of the 1993 NCAA Final Four after leading Texas Tech to the national championship and setting a NCAA record for points scored in the title game with 47 points in the Lady Raiders' 84-82 win over Ohio State.
  • Selected the 1993 and 1992 Southwest Conference (SWC) Player of the Year, 1992 SWC Postseason Classic MVP and the 1992 SWC Newcomer of the Year.
  • Finished 1993 ranked as the NCAA's second leading scorer, averaged 28.1 ppg.
