USA BASKETBALL NOTES
 
- Participated in the July 20-22, 2007, Senior National Team mini-training camp in Las Vegas, but because of personal reasons was not available to play in the 2007 FIBA Americas Championship.
 
- Played for the USA White Team in the 2007 State Farm USA Basketball Challenge and recorded two points, and added one assist, one steal in 17 minutes.

- Helped lead USA to an 8-1 record and bronze medal at the 2006 FIBA World Championship in Japan.

- Played in nine games and started five in the 2006 World Championship. Averaged at the World Championship 5.0 points and 2.4 rebounds per game, while shooting 53.6 percent from the field, 47.6 percent from 3-point.

- Named on August 17, 2006, a member of the 2006 USA World Championship Team.

- Helped lead the USA Senior National Team to a 5-0 record during its pre-World Championship tour averaging 3.0 ppg. and 3.4 rpg.

- Named on March 5, 2006, to the 2006-2008 USA Basketball Men's Senior National Team.

- Member of the 2001 USA Goodwill Games Team that was comprised of young NBA players and finished 5-0 to capture the gold medal at the 2001 Goodwill Games in Brisbane, Australia. Played in all five games and averaged 4.6 ppg. and 3.0 rpg.

- Member of the 2000 USA Basketball Men's Select Team that fell to the 2000 USA Men's Senior National Team 111-74, started and recorded eight points, three rebounds, four assists and three steals.

- Helped the USA Men's Junior National Select Team to a 97-90 victory over the World Select Team in the 1997 Nike Hoop Summit.

- Recorded seven points and tied for a team high with seven rebounds in the U.S. victory.

- Named 2007 NBA All-Defensive Team honorable mention and had the highest vote total (17) of all honorable mentions.

- Named to the 2002 NBA All-Rookie first team.

- Named a divisional recipient of the 2006-07 NBA Sportsmanship Award that honors a player who exemplifies the ideals of sportsmanship on the court -- ethical behavior, fair play and integrity.

- Participated in the 2002 NBA Rookie Challenge game.

- Finished 2006-07 NBA regular season averaging 10.1 ppg., 4.1 rpg., 2.1 apg., 1.0 spg., and shot a 44.6 percent from the field, a career high 42.1 percent from 3-point, and 77.9 percent from the foul line.

Posted a career best 7-12 3-point shooting versus New Jersey (12/27/06). Played a career high 51 minutes against the L.A. Lakers (12/15/06).

- Traded July 12, 2006, to the Houston Rockets in exchange for Rudy Gay, the No. 8 pick in the 2006 NBA Draft, and forward Stromile Swift.

- Helped lead Memphis in 2005-06 to a 49-33 regular season record and the 2006 NBA Playoffs.

COLLEGIATE NOTES

- Four year starter for Duke University, compiled a 133-15 record and a stellar 89.9 winning percentage. Helped lead Duke to three outright ACC regular season titles and one shared title, three ACC Tournament crowns, four NCAA Tournaments including the NCAA Championship in 2000-01, Final Four in 1998-99, Elite Eight in 1997-98 and Sweet Sixteen in 1999-2000.

- Consensus choice as the 2000-01 National Player of the Year and All-America First Team as a senior.

- Named the 2001 NCAA Final Four's Most Outstanding Player.

- Selected as NABC Defensive Player of the Year three consecutive seasons.

- Finished career tied for eighth on Duke's all-time scoring list with 1,984 points and is the all-time career steals leader (266).

- One of four players in NCAA history to have compiled over 1,500 points, 500 rebounds, 200 steals, 200 assists and 200 blocked shots in a career, joining Lionel Simmons, Danny Manning and George Evans.

- One of two players in ACC history to total over 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, 200 assists, 200 steals, 100 blocks and 100 3-pointers.

- Selected Chairman of the NABC executive student basketball council, appointed to discuss and provide advice to the NABC on the various issues in college basketball.
