Attends Michigan State University and helped lead team to a 19-15 overall record and the 2011 NCAA Tournament second round.
As a freshman in 2010-11, appeared in 34 games, started 18, including 16 Big Ten contests. Averaged 6.4 points and 2.8 rebounds. Shot a team-best 41.1 percent from 3-point range (39-95), and also led the squad with a 89.5 free throw percentage (34-38) for players with at least 20 attempts.
Made 39 3-point field goals to rank third all-time among Spartan freshman, while his 95 attempts rank fourth and his 41.1 percentage ranks fifth.
Scored 14 points in his Spartan debut versus Eastern Michigan (11/12/10), ranking fifth all-time among Spartan freshman debuts.
Scored in double figures in eight games, led the squad in scoring twice, in rebounding twice and in assists twice.
Scored a season-best 19 points in MSU's 71-67 overtime win against Northwestern (1/15/11); his 3-pointer put the Spartans ahead for good in the extra period. Connected on 5-of-8 3-pointers against the Wildcats.

Scored a state title game record 49 points in the 2009 Michigan Class A Tournament final game to lead Pershing to the state championship and also captured the 2009 Detroit PSL title; averaged 23.9 ppg., 6.0 apg. and 5.0 rpg.
